VOLCANO
don't look now
they're on the news again todaythose ppl who want
the world to spin their way
the sun went red
again.
when all words have been said,
words can fall dead
like blossoms in the sunshine
she peeped up at him and said:
"im not done with you yet."
the world has its ways
to make you look again
he holds tight
ignores the sea
as it gathers above his knees
just like the time before.
when he drowned

but he wont let her go
not before the volcano
takes her home
takes her home
her lips dissuade him
but her hips persuade him
that this might be the last time
for a while
the heart has a strange way
of laughing at plans
she tells him "I'll love youas long as I can."
this was the result of a particularly exhilarating/nerve-racking week when she was delayed going back to england to school because of the icelandic volcano/heathrow thing (it was on the bbc ;)
